Full Strip-Out to Modern Finish

The Challenge

The existing bathroom was outdated and no longer fit for purpose, with dated fixtures and an inefficient layout. The space required a complete overhaul, including upgrades to both the plumbing system and overall design to create a more modern, cohesive look.

The Solution

We carried out a full strip out, taking the bathroom back to brick to allow for a fresh start. All walls were reboarded and retiled using 600 x 300 large-format tiles, creating a clean and contemporary backdrop.

The plumbing system was upgraded with new hot and cold supplies installed to accommodate a modern mixer bar rainfall shower, replacing the outdated electric shower unit.

Heating was also improved by removing the existing panel radiator and electric towel warmer, replacing them with a sleek, modern towel radiator that complements the new black and white colour scheme.

To complete the transformation, the pedestal sink and toilet were replaced, enhancing both the style and functionality of the space.

The Result

The finished bathroom is a complete transformation from its original state. The space now feels fresh, modern, and highly functional, with a cohesive black and white aesthetic running throughout. Upgraded plumbing and fixtures ensure improved performance, while the clean lines and larger tiles give the room a more spacious and high-end feel.

Client Feedback

The customer was so pleased with the end result. The bathroom looked completely different – modern, stylish, and much more practical for everyday use. They felt the quality of the work really stood out and the whole process was very straightforward.
